Christmas 2005

Merry Christmas, loved ones. We are winding down into a nice Christmas afternoon, with grey skies, light rain, and some playtime. Callie was here from Friday night to celebrate with us. She was a sport when we dragged her to a get-together with our neighbors' (Joe and Kim) family, who nicely invited us to church, dinner, and a party. Thanks!

Thank you to everyone who sent gifts. Lots and lots of gifts. I am sending a letter to the shipping companies for a kickback since we singlehandedly increased their holiday shipping profits by 3%. We would send Thank You cards, but Abigail walked away with ~40 gifts this year alone, so you can just be happy with these pictures and the smiles on our faces. Maybe now she won't say "No fair!" when she doesn't have a box for her on the doorstep. We would love to see all you this season, but our new home needs to be christened with the blessings of celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. So, here is Christmas 2005 in our household.

One quick note: A new way to ensure you wake when your child does - Abigail received a large stuffed pink pegasus, which we left against her door to fall into her room as a nice surprise when she opened it. Imagine our delight when we woke to Abigail screaming bloody murder. She was quite delighted AFTER she stopped crying and realized what it was. Just something to think about.
